Advanced Soldering

What: Weekly Workshop - Advanced Soldering!
When: Monday, November 8th, 6:00pm - 7:00pm
Where: 415 Shillman Hall
Why: This week we will be teaching the art of surface-mount soldering! We'll teach the theory and show some examples before walking through how to assemble the PCB that we designed in previous workshops.
Attendance at previous workshops is not required, all are welcome!

Intro to Soldering with Lutron

Why: Join us and Lutron as we teach the basics of through-hole soldering! This is a vital skill for prototyping or repair, and will set you up for more advanced soldering techniques in the future. All experience levels are welcome!

PCB Design: Routing

What: PCB Design: Routing

Where: 415 Shillman Hall
Why: Last week we focused on general schematic considerations relating to PCB design and built a design. This week we'll be taking that design and turning the schematic into a layout using KiCad.

Why: Ask our IEEE E-board to review your resume! If you're looking for a co-op or are trying to make your first resume stand out, this is an excellent opportunity for you. We are also available to answer any questions you may have about the co-op process or the university experience.
