Weekly Chapter Meeting - mabl!

What: mabl
When: Wednesday, February 19th, at 11:45am
Where: 315 Shillman
Why: Hope everyone had a great week. We are excited to welcome mabl to our weekly meeting. mabl is a unified DevTestOps platform that makes it easy for developers and testers to create and run automated functional UI tests faster and at scale. Dan Belcher and Izzy Azeri founded the company in 2017 after their previous startup, Stackdriver, was acquired by Google.

Dan will be talking about the macro trends that created the opportunity for mabl to exist, including SaaS, the Cloud, and DevOps. We will also be hearing from one of the company’s first software engineers, Mike Bartucca, about how mabl addressed technical challenges in a novel way to take advantage of this opportunity.

Both Dan and Mike are Northeastern alumni, and IEEE's spring president previously co-oped here. This is a great chance to gain fresh perspective on what it takes to create a successful startup and solve unique technical challenges.

This meeting will take place in 315 Shillman Hall from 11:45am-1:15pm on Wednesday, February 19th.

As always, free pizza will be served!
