This week we, have Denis Foley from NVIDIA coming to speak at IEEE!
Denis Foley is a Senior Director in NVIDIA’s GPU Architecture team. He leads a team of architects in NVIDIA’s Westford, MA office charged with developing internal fabric and GPU interconnect for a number of upcoming products with a particular emphasis on High-Performance Computing solutions. Prior to NVIDIA, Denis was a Senior Fellow at ATI/AMD where he was responsible for the development of a modular SOC architecture. He was the SOC architect for several of AMD’s initial Fusion APUs. He was the system architect for ATI’s first ARM based applications processor. Prior to ATI/AMD Denis was a Distinguished Engineer at HP/Compaq/Digital Equipment where he was the implementation lead for a high-end Itanium based machine. Denis has a BEng (Elect) degree from the University College Cork, Ireland.
